The irony of this post is timely. I woke up this morning with the dreaded sore throat. Luckily, a few days ago I was able to pick up Jackman’s natural lozenges at Duane Reade.
I was able to find them at the Duane Reade on 42nd and 8th avenue. This store is one of the busy, hot spots on 42nd street. All it needs is some disco lights and a dj.
And BAM. I found what I was looking for. Jakeman’s is one of those brands that you feel like you’ve heard of or seen before. And it is quite possible. This brand has been around since 1907!
Jakemans Throat & Chest lozenges are made using all natural ingredients including menthol to provide soothing relief for throat soreness, chest and sinus congestion.
The are on sale for 2.99 with your balance rewards card. If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself, “Yoli buy more, your going to need it today.” During the winter, especially with this unpredictable weather, it is a good idea to keep lozenges like Jakeman’s in your bag or purse. As any sign of a scratchy throat or cough, start using them coupled with clean eating, increasing your water intake as well as vitamin c. When I am not feeling well, I limit the amount of products and processed foods. Jakeman’s provides in between relief like right now.
No shopping trip to Duane Reade is complete with picking up my fav drink Bai5, which is also on sale – 2 for $4.00. So good and only 5 calories.
Nothing wrong with a little product placement at the register. Thank me later.
