Summer Streets 2013 Return to NYC

On three consecutive Saturdays, August 3rd, 10, and 17th, nearly seven miles of New York City’s streets are opened up for everyone to play, run, walk and bike, from 72d street and park avenue all the way down to Brooklyn Bridge. Stay Tuned as I am organizing a really fun event for summer streets on the last day!

this is such a great event. i had no idea this was happening in NYC. i wish there were more stops in Brooklyn and other urban neighborhoods who could really benefit from this.. but overall an awesome idea and great step in the right direction of encouraging people to move more.
