The New York Green Festival took place last weekend at the Jacob Javits center. Ford Motor Company presented some of their electric and hybrid cars as one of the partners of the festival.
In an effort to create more eco-friendly and sustainable cars, Ford has ventured into research utilizing food and dandelion weeds to produce car parts and even replace rubber. Researchers at Ford and The Ohio State University are looking to see how plants can serve as a new sustainable resource for rubber.
