The #tastytweetup hosted by @beautygazette allowed an opportunity to be introduced to and try out a new “hot dog” vendor focusing on organic and natural foods. Lucky for me they have Tofurky!!!
Here is my Tofurky dog with cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, caramelized onions, ketchup, and mustard on a whole wheat bun. You can customize your dog anyway you want. They have a variety of topping and combos. I swear I could eat 3 of these if given the opportunity. Ok, full disclosure, I ate 2 during the #tastytweetup
NYC Healthy bites is a brand new venture that has been on the streets of NYC for about 6months. NYC Healthy Bites was started for the simplest of reasons: we got hungry. Traveling around New York City one day, we wanted a fast, affordable bite that was delicious yet good for you. That’s when we realized the streets of our great city were lacking in healthy food carts. And, when there was a healthy or organic option, it could cost a small fortune. That put us on our mission: to meet the desire for more high quality, organic food in the streets of New York that is convenient and fairly priced. New Yorkers shouldn’t have to sacrifice their time, taste buds or paycheck for a satisfying meal.
