I received this very interesting and compelling infograph produced by KirbyBuilt.com. Some scary points include:
- Thirteen of the 50 states have no more capacity for landfills.
- Seven of the 50 states have 5-10 years left in reaching capacity.
- Over 7 billion pounfs of PVC is thrown away each year and less than 1% of that is recycled.
- One Billion Shopping bags are used each year creating 300,000 tones of landfill waste.
