Citi Bike NY Ride Share Program, now the country’s largest bike sharing program, has had its one month anniversary as of the end of June. The below ingographic, with data up to date as of June 27, 2013, shows that more than 500,000 trips have been made, 200,000+ trips in one week and over 100,00 annual, weekly, and daily subscriptions.
The city is and will continue to vendor from the bone share program. Now the true test is to see how long it will hold up after the novelty has worn off and upkeep/maintenance.
I am itching to get an annual membership as it is only $95! I think by next spring, I’ll be willing to take the spin.
