Vintage Street Styles From New York Fashion Week

Fashion week in NYC is typically full of contemporary to avant-garde looks from couture designer names to Urban Outfitters. This year, I wanted to highlight some of the vintage pieces and looks from on-lookers and attendees of this year’s tent show at Lincoln Center and off site shows and events.

vintage-nyfwThese lovely ladies rocked vintage at a night time event. Eleanor (on the left) upcycled this beaded top as a sultry dress paired with the cutest cream and white hat.  Whippa (on the right) wore a form fitting, velvet halter dress and used a gold, chunky necklace as a headpiece. Brilliance abound in this photo.

vintage-nyfw1V styled on everyone with his vintage army jacket adorned with buttons on the breast pocket and an array of jewelry and chains on the shoulder.

vintage-nyfw3Kristina’s floral dress caught my eye at the tents. I love the pattern and long sleeves that make it perfect for this NY transitional weather.

vintage-nyfw4I really liked vintage beaded jacket and could see it paired with a variety of other looks.

vintage-nyfw5This vintage-esqe cruiser  isn’t really vintage but it sure does have a classic build by Martone. Renee’s bike was recently featured on Vogue magazine.

Did any of the looks catch your eye? Which ones?
