Last week, there was a showcase of new products coming to Whole Body, the personal care shop of Whole Foods. I took the time to highlight the products that I’ll be on the look out for and hopefully you will as well.
Mineral Fusion‘s initial introduction to the world of green beauty was through their mineral makeup line. They have since expanded over the years with skin care line and now this exciting array of ergonomically friendly nail polishes and nail polish remover. The colors are vibrant and the quality of the application is stellar because of the brush. If you notice the shape of the bottle, it makes it very easy to open as the top fits easily in your hands. The nail care collection will be sold exclusively at Whole Body for a year.
Threads4Thought is a fair trade fashion line that I was happy to discover via Whole Body’s press event. Nothing in the line is over $29 dollars and everything is comfortable, yet stylish. For instance, I crave the black and white print fleece leggings. All the leggings will be exclusively sold at Whole Body. In NY, only two stores will have a limited edition of them: Columbus Circle and Tribeca. Another coveted item are the fleece, fingerless gloves which will be available for $29.99 .
Alaffia‘s facial care line is s series of restorative blends including one that combines neem and black soap. The other formula includes shea leaf and baobab, which is a tree native to West Africa. The second product that I am excited about it Africa’s Secret by Alaffia. This certified fair trade multipurpose skin cream that contains indigenous ingredients including . This would be a great addition to your winter regimen and is probably great to eczema, psoriasis, and other drying skin conditions.
