This week, Eileen Fisher hosted their spring 2013 preview…online! It was so convenient to be able to watch from the comfort of my home office. One thing I learned about EF that I did not know before is that they make 20% of their clothing in NYC. Unfamiliar with the EF Eco Collection? Check it out here.
Here are some of the pieces they revealed.
Eileen Fisher Bluesign certified sustainable silk Peplum Top
Organic Linen Mandarin collar shirt
Bluesign certified sustainable silk track pants
The Japanese influenced a sheer kimono, made in Los Angeles, USA
Harem Pant made in the USA – NYC!
Bluesign certified sustainable silk Harem Pant
Their new campaign ‘We Want Our Clothes Back Now Thanks Very Much’ allows customers to bring worn EF clothes to their retail stores (or mail them) and get $5 EF credit per garment.
Donated clothes are cleaned and sold at the Green Eileen Shop, a non-profit retail store.
Organic denim skinny jeans, available in multiple colors
Silk crepe de chine Firefly dress
Sheer Organic Cotton Sweater, made in Peru by a women’s collective.
I can’t wait to receive some of my faves from EF to get my eco spring styling sprung.
